DESPITE supermarkets already stacking their shelves with hot cross buns, local
bakeries say it is way too early to begin baking the much anticipated
treat.

Rivetts Bakery manager Julie Barber said her team won’t sell hot cross
buns until “a good few weeks before Good Friday”.
“It is a bit too early I
think,” she said.
