Standard saloon weekend

THIS weekend the Swan Hill Motor Racing Club is hosting the standard saloon VSC Victorian state titles over two days.

Saturday night will be warming up with heats for the standard saloons and local support classes.

Sunday will finish off heats for the standard saloons before the final, with support classes on this night as well.

The club has seven local drivers in the mix among some of the best drivers in the state.

As usual, racing should be highly competitive and in the final there could be some crash and bash as these guys vie for the best line.

The club wishes good luck to all locals racing in the standard saloons as well as in the supporting classes juniors, 3-Litres, street stocks, V8 super modified and the VSC Formula 500s.

These drivers will be sharing the track over the two days since there are so many cars nominated for the title.

The public are welcome to meet and greet some drivers at a display at the clock tower in Campbell Street on Saturday morning. Gates open at 4pm Saturday and Sunday, racing starts at 7pm.
