NEW faces and a first-year Interleague coach will represent the Central Murray Football Netball League’s A Grade side in Bendigo on Saturday, as the CMFNL seeks to develop a consistently strong top-flight representative team.
Coach Madeleine Nalder is in charge of a team that features three new club coaches in Tiger Tessa Burton, Cohuna’s Sammy Drover and United’s Carly-Marie Clark.
Young stars Emelia Bett (Mallee Eagles) and Katelyn Wright (Kerang) are also set to take the court, with the squad rounded out by Swan Kelsey McCoy, and Woorinen’s Maddie Jeans and Tayla Stanley.
The CMFNL meets Heathcote, and while Nalder said she did not know a lot about their opponents, she was confident the side would acquit itself well.
