Swans downed

SWAN Hill’s second consecutive home game resulted in a 4-1 defeat to Eaglehawk on Sunday.

Shannon Rain scored the Swans’ sole goal, but the Hawks found the back of the net on four occasions to have a comfortable win.

Swan Hill sits in last place on the Bendigo Amateur Soccer League’s youth ladder, but it’s a much better story in the Division 2 championship.

The Swans were too good for Eaglehawk in the later game on Sunday, winning 3-1.

Tyson Fox, Shannon Rain and Jesse Turner all slammed home goals for Swan Hill, which now sits in third spot with three wins from six games.

The Swans travel to play Strathdale for next week’s Round 7 fixtures.
