Man, 26, jailed after 200kmh chase

A SWAN Hill man who threatened to decapitate a frantic 15-year-old female passenger during a high speed police chase has been sentenced to 18 months behind bars.

Bradley Thomas McAlister appeared in Swan Hill Magistrates’ Court this week on 21 offences, including threaten to kill and injure, use of false documents, traffic and use methamphetamine and multiple driving offences.

The court heard the most serious of offending began on February 21 — just three weeks after his release from prison.
