EVERYBODY loves a good win and at this Saturday’s Swan Hill Pacing Cup there is a Toyota Yaris up for grabs.
The car will go to one lucky punter as it will be drawn as a lucky door prize on the night.
Club officials are expecting 1000-plus spectators to come through the gates for what is shaping up to be the biggest meet of the year for the Nyah Harness Racing Club.
Drawcards for the night include the car giveaway, strong fields, kids entertainment, and a handful of AFL players appearing on the night.
The Adelaide Crows’ Josh Jenkins and Essendon’s Michael Hurley will be trackside to watch their entry Mach Denario go around.
“It stands to be a sensational meeting with large fields across ten races,” Nyah Harness Racing Club president Gerard Moloney said.
“We have had strong nominations coming in with a couple Melbourne horses making the trip for the cups and they will bring a few more up with them which will strengthen the earlier races on the night.”
The two feature events, the Tooleybuc Sporting Club Swan Hill Pacing Cup and the Haras Des Trotteurs Nyah Harness Racing Cup have a combined prize money of over $50,000 which draws high quality entrants from across Victoria.
Gates at the Swan Hill Racecourse open on Saturday at 5.30pm. Entry is $15 for adults, under 18 is free.
