Swan Hill meet called off

THE upcoming horse racing meet at Swan Hill Racecourse has been transferred to Donald, amid concerns about the state of grass on the track.

Jamie McGuiness, Racing Victoria’s (RV) executive general manager of infrastructure, announced on Monday the meeting at Swan Hill on Friday, March 4 had been transferred to Donald to provide the racecourse additional time to recover from a recent renovation.

“A recent inspection has determined that Swan Hill’s renovated track would benefit from additional time before racing returned to the venue,” McGuiness said.
