LATEST performance data reveals ambulance response times for the most extreme call-outs are decreasing faster in Swan Hill than the rest of the state.
According to the data, “Code One” average ambulance response times have improved by 11 seconds in Swan Hill for the March 2016 quarter, compared to a year earlier.
By comparison, average response times across the state improved by five seconds.
On top of this, Swan Hill District Health has reportedly had 98.7 per cent of its patient transfer rates within the benchmark 40 minutes — above the statewide benchmark target of 90 per cent.
It also admitted more patients than it did at the same time one year ago, including emergency patients, and treated more than half of Category 1, 2 and 3 emergency patients within eight minutes.
