Locals’ great opportunity

THE team at Swan Hill’s Sutton Plumbing Services are “jumping out of their skin” for a once in a lifetime plumbing contract in Dubai.

Working alongside the Australian multinational production company Laservision at Swan Hills Pioneer Settlement last June on the state-of-the-art multimedia laser light show Heartbeat of the Murray, Sutton Plumbing Services owner Brenden Sutton said that they were given an opportunity by Laservision he couldn’t refuse.

“We got on well (with the Laservision team when they were in Swan Hill), they stayed at our place whilst they were here…I had them over for tea a lot and took them golfing, just providing them with entertainment,” Mr Sutton said.

“They really regard any employees from Swan Hill, and any of the business they have worked with down here…they said they haven’t found better workers…and they have worked in Russia, Hong Kong, and Singapore.”

“It was an opportunity that I couldn’t say no to, it was privilege to be asked and I am glad that all of my employees have had an opportunity to be involved.”
