Show and Shine delights young and old

The annual Swan Hill Lions club Show and Shine was held in conjunction with the Festival of Motorsport last weekend.

There were 106 cars and 25 bikes on display, plus a variety of entertainment, food stalls and kids activities.

Swan Hill Lions club member Ann Rowe said the club was extremely pleased with the turnout.

“Initially I thought we wouldn’t get as big a turnout as last year because there was so much going on during the festival, but attendance numbers were really good,” she said.

People came from across the district and further afield to see classic vehicles on display.

The People’s Choice award for cars went to Dominic Occhiuzzi for his 1978 one-tonner Holden Ute.

Mr Occiuzzi’s vehicle also won the Mallee Performance Oil award for best paint and body work.
