Missing man found safe

POLICE say a Tresco man missing for more than 12 hours has been found safe and well.

The 21-year-old man was last seen at an address on Scown Road about 4.30pm on Wednesday.

Police and family held concerns for James as he has an intellectual disability and requires regular medication.

Investigators urged residents in the Tresco and Lake Boga areas to check their properties and backyards as James may be hiding under shelter.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said James we located yesterday morning.
