MURRAY DOWNS LADIES

FIFTY-EIGHT ladies competed in the March Monthly Medal on Wednesday.

Naomi Domaille found the weather and excellent course conditions to her liking as she scored a personal best of 88/22/66 to claim the major prize.

Naomi’s score included one birdie and four pars and she is surely on the way to joining her mother, Kathy Parkinson in A Grade.

Runner-up in Division 1 was Suzanne Napier (24) 73 nett.

In Division 2, Barb Upton (32) 71 nett won the voucher on a count back from Glenda Coulter (27).

Visitor Elaine Barrett and Mag Kiley led the ball pool on 73.

Judy McMahon had a day out with her putter with 28 putts and Claris Bourne, Lois Carnie, Pam Austerberry and Judi Benbow collected the NTP prizes.

On Saturday, Jill McIndoe (21) 38 points and Antoinette Kilderry (35) 40 points were the division winners as Olive Spitty (4) 37 points and Melita Sartori (44) 39 points took out the runner-up prizes.

Jenice Krahnert, Claris Bourne and Olive Spitty hit the most accurate shots to the par threes.

Junior golfers Audrey Domaille (51) 42 points and Phasinee Chaiyasit (23) 36 points led a small field on Sunday.
