Drugs and vapes seized

SWAN Hill Police have seized 150 vapes and a quantity of methamphetamine while executing a number of search warrants last week.

A male has been charged and bailed, while further enquiries continue.

Calves stolen

OFFENDERS are alleged to have stolen three black Angus calves from a paddock on Lalbert Road between 8pm on Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8.

Each calf weighs approximately 300kg and is valued at around $1000.

A ‘v’ shape is cut into the left ear and they are all tagged electronically.

WOORINEN SOUTH

Fire

A SMALL grass fire was found burning between Harvey Road and Chillingollah Road by a member of the public about 10:30am on Saturday, December 7.

The fire was extinguished by the CFA.

Investigations are continuing to determine if the fire was deliberately lit.

KERANG

Drink drive stop

A DRIVER allegedly returned a 0.259 breath test result on Monday, December 9, after he was found behind the wheel of his vehicle, which had rolled to a stop on a nature strip.

The 46-year-old male’s vehicle was impounded for a period of 30 days at a cost of $1335.

He will be summonsed to appear at court on a later date.
