THE last games of the round were played on Wednesday with the season taking a break until the doubles tournament on January 29, 2025, and the season proper on February 5.
The top of the table Have A Goes were hosted at the Swan Hill Club by the SHC Blazers.
Things didn’t start well for the Blazers losing all the doubles. The single’s games weren’t much better, only winning one for the night and then losing the teams as well.
The Have A Goes won the night with an easy 8 to 1 victory.
Perhaps the big highlight for the Blazers and Johnson Field from the Have A Goes was when Blazers, Sophie Williams, took the first leg off Bones Field, and nearly took him out in the second.
Out at the Tooleybuc Hotel, the Tooley Tigers took on Let’s Get Pegged.
As with the other game on the night, this too was a one-sided affair.
The Tigers took all of the doubles before Let’s Get Pegged won the first two of the singles.
It was all the Tigers after that, eventually winning 7 to 2.
Kyle Adamson from the Tigers had the highest peg for the night with a 3/59.
