Twenty20 action continuing

THE Swan Hill District Cricket Association’s Twenty20 action continues with Round 8 tomorrow.

RSL v Nyah

RSL bounced back from its Round 6 loss to St Mary’s Tyntynder when it defeated Ultima TUF in last Saturday’s triple header in Swan Hill.

The Blues struggled with the bat against the Saints, but posted a strong 132 against UTUF.

At home to Nyah District tomorrow, the Blues will need to continue the improvement against a strong attack.

The Demons will also look to improve their scoring after struggling last week against Woorinen.

UTUF v Swans

SWAN Hill will look to post a big total if it bats first against Ultima TUF at Alan Garden Memorial Reserve tomorrow.

The Swans managed a relatively modest 87 against St Mary’s Tyntynder last week, with the Saints chasing down the total for the loss of only two wickets.

Ultima TUF struggled with the bat against RSL. The RooDogs were dismissed for 62, after the Blues put together a total of 132.

Saints v Tigers

A BATTLE of the blade looms between St Mary’s Tyntynder and Woorinen at Ken Harrison Sporting Complex tomorrow.

Both sides have been in good form with the bat, with Woorinen posting 188 last week against Nyah District.

The Saints accounted for the Swans total, only dropping two wickets along the way. Both sides will want to bat first and set a strong total to defend.
