Court with a Knife
A MAN has been questioned after allegedly attempting to smuggle a kitchen knife into the Swan Hill Magistrates’ Court.
The man entered the court about 2pm on January 11.
While entering, the X-ray scanning indicated the person was in possession of a kitchen knife.
This was seized and the offender interviewed for possessing a controlled weapon.
Caravan stolen
POLICE are investigating the alleged theft of a caravan from a Tresco property last week.
The white with organise stripe Jayco pop-up caravan went missing between 3.30pm on January 19 and 3pm the following day.
It was stolen from a Angus Avenue property.
Rodeo in hands of thieves
A VEHICLE was allegedly stolen from a Woorinen South yard on January 14.
Police said in the early hours of January 14, offender or offenders entered the North South Road business.
They selected and stole a white 2005 Holden Rodeo.
Heartless theft
A FIRST aid kit was allegedly stolen from the Swan Hill tennis clubrooms at Ken Harrison Reserve last week.
The kit went missing from a tent between January 17 and 18.
Window smashed
A WINDOW of a Swan Hill business was damaged last week.
Police said the incident happened at the Beveridge Street business about 9.30pm on January 17. Drug possession on street
A MAN will appear in court after allegedly being found in possession of drugs in Robinvale last week.
Police spoke to a 35-year-old man on January 19 in the street.
He was found in possession of methyl amphetamine.
He was charged and bailed to attend court at a later date.
Cash missing
CASH has allegedly been stolen from a property in Robinvale.
The cash went missing on January 18 from River Grove.
Two days earlier, cash was stolen from the office area of a property in Bannerton.
It’s unclear if the cases are linked.
Cannabis found
DRUGS were allegedly found in car that was intercepted in Robinvale last week.
Police intercepted the vehicle on the Murray Valley Highway on January 16.
Located in the vehicle was a small amount of cannabis.
The driver was interviewed.
Keys taken
POLICE are seeking witnesses after a set of car keys were allegedly stolen from a vehicle in in Robinvale.
The keys were inside the ignition of the vehicle, which was playing music in the yard.
Alcohol theft
A WOMAN will be interviewed after allegedly stealing alcohol from a Swan Hill bottle shop.
The female stole a bottle of spirits about 2.30pm on January 14.
Forced entry
A SWAN Hill business was allegedly forced into early this month
The Campbell Street business was targeted about 4am on January 14.
It’s unknown what was stolen, but property was damaged.
Thirsty thieves
A PERSON has been identified after allegedly forcing entry and stealing alcohol from a store in Swan Hill.
The incident happened about 4am on January 14 in McCrae Street.
Inflated feeling
A MAN will be arrested after being identified as stealing an inflatable pool from a Swan Hill business.
About 1.30pm on January 13, a male offender entered a business in Beveridge Street, Swan Hill.
He was with friends. While inside the store, the offender has stolen a inflatable pool and placed it in his vehicle without paying for it.
