Pink for a cause

TWO local football clubs will raise money for Women Touched by Cancer at coming matches.

Nullawil has their Pink Day tomorrow, with footballers and netballers supporting the concept.

Footballers will wear pink jumpers and socks while netball players will have pink socks and headbands.

All footballs and netballs will be pink.

As well, a high tea in the clubrooms will be on offer and a load of wood will be raffled.

Woorinen’s annual ball will again be used to raise money for the local Women Touched by Cancer group over the June long weekend.

The Tigers will also host a reunion for the club’s 1973 senior and under 17s, and 1974 senior football teams.

The event will be held at the town hall.
