Have A Goes continue winning start

THE Ultima Bullchuckers hosted competition leaders, the RSL Have A Goes, at the Ultima Golf Club this week, but it was a commanding 7-2 win to the visitors.

The Have A Goes stormed to an early lead, winning all the doubles games and the first of the singles.

Ultima managed to win one of their singles before losing the next two, however they did finish the night on a high by winning the teams event.

It wasn’t enough, with the Have A Goes recording a comfortable win and retaining their place at the top of the table.

Chris Conlon for the Bullchuckers and ‘Bones’ Field from the Have A Goes both managed to win a leg of their singles in 20 darts, which were the shortest games over the competition for the night, with Field also scoring the best peg for the men on the night, with a 3/91.

Let’s Get Pegged and the SHC Blazers battled it out on their home turf at the Swan Hill Club, where the Blazers claimed victory 7-2.

The night started very close, with both teams winning two of the four doubles games, but that’s where the good news ended for Let’s Get Pegged, with the Blazers claiming victory in all the singles and teams events.

Let’s Get Pegged’s Rhiannon Glare and Sophie Williams from the Blazers both threw 140s for the night, Williams also throwing the best peg of the night with a 3/92.

At the Swan Hill RSL, the Gunners hosted the Tooley Tigers in what proved a one-sided affair.

The Gunners managed to win just one of their doubles games, eventually going down 8-1 to Tooleybuc, with Kyle Adamson and Jamie Williams throwing 140s on the night for the Tigers.
