The Dogs bite back

TYNTYNDER finally have a win on the board, coming from behind to beat Koondrook-Barham by five goals at the weekend.

The Dogs had a slower start to the match, trailing by four goals at the end of the first term and by six at half-time.

But a few changes to their line-up gave Tyntynder some fresh legs and lifted spirits, helping the side claw their way back to get the win.

Dogs coach Teagan Lawry, who took the court herself on Saturday, was happy with the how her side performed.

“It was great for our confidence levels to get a win on the board against a very determined Koondrook-Barham side,” Lawry said.

Among the Dogs’ best against the Raiders were midcourters Demi Wall and Toni Rivett, while Bridget Dedini showed her versatility in switching from attack to defence.

FINAL WHISTLE:

Tyntynder 41

Koondrook-Barham 36
