Fatal crash at Kulwin

A WOMAN has died following a collision east of Ouyen on Monday.

The driver and sole occupant from one vehicle — a 63-year-old South Australian woman — was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening-injuries but later died.

The driver and passenger from the second vehicle were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators believe that other drivers were in the vicinity of the area at the time of the collision and have requested that those people come forward to police.

Mildura Highway Patrol officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, has CCTV/dashcam footage or any information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.

The death took Victoria’s provisional lives lost tally to 192 compared to 188 at the same time last year.
