Rustic Ivy’s magic love potion

THE Rustic Ivy Florist is a one-stop shop when it comes to expressing your love this Valentine’s Day.

Marking one of the biggest days on the calendar for local florists, The Rustic Ivy owner Leane Swinnerton said there was a growing trend which saw customers stepping away from the once classic red and white rose combination.

“Today, customers are looking for nice, fresh, good quality mixed bunches, moving away from the red roses,” she said.

Floral artistry has been a lifelong passion for Leane, who was first introduced to the artform as a work experience student.

Fuelled by her passion for flowers and a desire to create something uniquely her own, The Rustic Ivy journey commenced in 2016.

Since then, the business has continued to bloom and evolve with industry trends.

Her passion extends far beyond her shopfront, and she actively supports local creators, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of Swan Hill, and the community she calls home.

Supporting local growers ensures The Rustic Ivy has access to an abundance of fresh flowers, contributing to their longevity.

Each Valentine’s Day, Leane and her team embrace a theme, with this year’s set to be Love Potion.

With this theme in mind, the team have curated their own Love Potion bouquet which is a special addition to their extensive Valentine’s Day lineup.

The store also features a unique array of giftware and there will be a range of ready-made hampers prepared for the special day.

“We’d encourage customers to be organised early and place a preorder to make sure you don’t miss out,” Leane said, adding preorders were now open.
