Hit The Fed to be well fed

“WITH the warmer months drawing near, Swan Hill’s Federal Hotel is the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy a moment with friends and family.

Situated across the bridge on the banks of the Murray River, “The Fed” is sure to delight, whether you’re enjoying a meal or sipping a cold drink after work.

The choice of dining indoors or outdoors is all yours, while you leave behind the hustle and bustle of Swan Hill and take in the laid-back atmosphere.

With the restaurant serving up lunch from noon to 2.30pm and dinner on offer from 6pm until 9pm, the Federal Hotel will hit the spot at all times.

The hotel’s family-friendly bistro serves up a mouth-watering mix of modern Australian pub classics, with something for all tastes at any time of day.

From chicken schnitzels and parmigiana, to spaghetti bolognese and beer-battered fish and chips, The Fed nails the pub favourites every time.

Steak-lovers can choose from grass-fed porterhouse or scotch fillet, served from chips and salad or vegetables and a choice of delicious sauces.

There’s also The Fed’s range of pizzas – choices include the simple Hawaiian and Margherita or you can try one of the many delicious pizzas on offer.

If it’s a burger you’re after, pick one of The Fed’s beef or chicken schnitzel options – the house crumbed chicken burger served with bacon, slaw, cheese, aioli and chips is a favourite.

Salads are on the menu, with fresh and vibrant garden and summer salads available with the option to add meat to the already delightful meal.

The kids will also love the food offered up by The Fed, with a choice of spaghetti bolognese or nuggets, fish, schnitzel and a parma – all served with chips.

A rotating range of lunch and dinner specials keeps the fresh menu even fresher. The Fed provides welcome value in a time where a cheap meal can be hard to find.

If you’re just swinging by for a quick bite, starters and sides can satisfy your craving – choose from potato or sweet potato chips with two sauces, or two garlic bread options.

A range of beer and cocktails are on offer, ready to be enjoyed as you take in the big game on the big screen, or one of the live music offerings in the amphitheatre.

No matter your music taste, if they’re hosting a local acoustic act, or a beat-dropping DJ set, The Fed brings the goods when it comes to live music and atmosphere.

Whether you’re a local regular, or someone dropping by on a road trip, the Federal Hotel Swan Hill is the place to be.”
