Top clash ends in one-sided win

THE top-of-the-table match between the RSL Have A Goes and the SHC Blazers took place at the RSL on Wednesday night, when the Have A Goes claimed premiership favouritism with a dominant win.

Both teams came into the night undefeated, however the end result was a one-sided affair as the Blazers were only able to secure victory in one of the doubles games, losing 8-1, with Tosh Gleeson throwing an impressive peg of 3/114.

The Ultima Bullchuckers took on the RSL Gunners at the Ultima Golf Club, where the Bullchuckers proved way too strong for the Gunners, taking out the night 7-2.

At the Swan Hill Club, Let’s Get Pegged hosted the Tooley Tigers.

This turned out to be the closest match-up of the night, with Rhiannon Glare throwing a fantastic 3/104 peg, as well as 140 for the night, and the Tigers coming out on top with a 5-4 win.

It must also be noted that last week, ‘Bones’ Field from the RSL Have A Goes threw a 180 in a game against the Ultima Bullchuckers.
