SWAN HILL

THE Bridge tournament begins this Friday at the Swan Hill Bowls Club from 2pm so be sure to have your triples teams or your single entries in by 1pm to take part in this new event, which will be held on the first Friday of each month.

Contact Bill King on 0428 324 083 or the Swan Hill Bowls Club on 5032 1772 with your entries into The Bridge, which is an any combination, two bowl triples event.

Cost is $30 per team or $10 for a single entry, consisting of two games of 10 ends.

Prizemoney will be determined on a pro-rata basis of entries received, with all welcome to take part in The Bridge.

The weather is improving, our A green is sheltered and quite warm when the sun shines.

Light snacks, happy hour drinks or a hot drink will be available in the warm clubhouse after the game.

The usual Friday jackpot is now over $100 and will still be drawn or you can enjoy the fun of trying to win one of Mick’s elusive raffle prizes.

Visitors from other clubs increased the Friday Frolic numbers to 16 last week and will return to its normal time slot of 3pm next Friday afternoon.

Your annual membership subscriptions for season 2025-26 are now due and may be paid at the bar.

Please contact Mick Balchin on 0428 553 913 if you wish to enter our two-day Classic On The Murray event, which is a two bowl triples event being held on Saturday, August 9 and Sunday, August 10.

See you at The Bridge this Friday.
