MARKET Place Swan Hill (formerly boot sale) is on this Saturday.

Refreshed, decluttered, with private stall holders inside the hall.

A sausage sizzle, fresh scones or a hot cuppa would be welcoming in this win try weather.

Come and try here and over the road behind Anglicare.

In this past week, we have joined with some community members to play Canasta, a new architecture game and other tabletop games.

It’s a warm, relaxing, fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Join us next month.

We also hosted the local genealogical group on Sunday for their monthly meeting.

It gave them a chance to appreciate the tapestry kneelers that record all the parish priests we have had here.

Mothers’ Union celebrated Christmas in July, an enjoyable gathering in this wintry weather.

Note the men’s coffee morning on Thursdays at 10.30am has relocated to The Paragon Cafe at Pioneer Settlement as One28 Doors is closed on Thursdays during winter. All are welcome.

Finally, our priest, Julie, has injured her knee and is mostly working from home to minimise walking.

Most activities and services will continue, with assistance from Rev Denis and several church members.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Julie as she endures very restricted activity.
