THE Guardian met another golden oldie this week in 16-year-old Millie.
You may have spotted her making her way around town at the speed of a particularly tired snail – but she sure looks stylish as she shuffles along.
We also met baby Remy, the Australian Shepherd puppy who was just about the cutest fluff ball we have ever seen.
And, of course, deputy editor Amy Maynard’s precious pussycat Gertie – what a perfect pair!
We’ve also got Gerry, the female two-year-old Tabby from Swan Hill.
She is a rescue cat from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Horsham.
Two years ago Chelsie King went into the RSPCA to get a bunny, but she left with a cat.
“Gerry wouldn’t approach anyone,” Chelsie’s brother, Kye King said.
“The cat chose her.”
If you want to see your dog or lizard (or even your resident pigeon) featured in our pages, email your photos along with names and a cute story to lwilliams@theguardian.com.au and we will publish as many as we can as soon as we can.
