Help for the future

Swan Hill Freemasons has generously donated a cheque for $10,000 to Mallee Family Care’s Chances for Children program.

Rt Worship Brother James Thompson OAM told The Guardian SHF was “delighted” to assist and support this “wonderful program.”

The CFC program was established in 2000 by MFC and the then three water authorities.

The program provides scholarship funding and ongoing support to young people in North West Victoria and South West New South Wales.

It aims to ensure these children remain engaged in secondary school, realise their talents and pursue tertiary education.

To date, CFC has provided mentoring and financial support to 2,079 young people in the region, with $5.4 million in funding dispersed.
