WOORINEN Football Netball Club and opponents Nyah-Nyah West United celebrated NAIDOC Week with a smoking ceremony and welcome to country before the Central Murray Football League senior football match on Saturday.

The large crowd were also treated to a performance from the Wiral Dance Group and the exchange of traditional gifts between opponents.

The senior and reserve football teams stood alongside netballers and umpires as part of the ceremony.

Both teams wore Indigenous jumpers designed by members of each club.
