Family fun day in town

EXCITEMENT is building for the Easter Family Fun Day this Saturday in the Swan Hill CBD.

McCallum Street and McCrae Street will be transformed into a hub of activity between 9am to 2pm.

“There’ll be 50 metres of inflatables, jumping castles, laser tag and a gauntlet run,” said Swan Hill Inc business development manager Stephen Colombo.

“We’ll also have market stalls, and traders will be open, with some setting up stalls out front.”

Entertainment is on offer.

“There will be live performances by Graham Baird near Clark’s, the Swan Hill City Band will play in front of My2Girls, and a busker will play around ANZ,” he said.

“Roaming performer Tim Tim will keep the energy high with balloons, bubbles, stilt-walking, and clowning around.

“There’ll also be a petting zoo for the kids to enjoy.

“Local favourite One28 Scoops will be serving up ice cream and sweet treats.

“At the heart of it, the event is about bringing the community together to celebrate Easter, encourage people to come to the CBD and remind everyone about the importance of shopping and supporting local.”

The free event is proudly presented by Swan Hill Inc and sponsored by NAB Swan Hill.
