Family fun day in town for locals and visitors

THE Swan Hill CBD was a hive of activity at the weekend as people joined together to embrace the region’s Easter Family Fun Day.

The fun-filled morning was organised by Swan Hill Incorporated, providing an opportunity to promote the region as a top destination to visit, shop and enjoy.

Featuring market stalls, face painting, roaming entertainment, live music, inflatables, and a petting zoo, locals and visitors embraced the opportunity to soak up the festive atmosphere as part of the Easter long-weekend.

Attracting visitors from destinations such as Melbourne, Horsham, Healesville and South Australia, Swan Hill is fast becoming a tourism destination.

New tourism data reveals Swan Hill welcomed more than 750,000 visitors to the region last year, injecting more than $185 million into the local economy.
