BULOKE Shire was quietly reintroduced to the Victoria-NSW cross-border bubble on Monday and Mayor Daryl Warren said while the district was grateful, residents still don't know why they were shut out in the first place.

"And being let back in was done with little fanfare, there was no official media release," Cr Warren said.
