How to get a vaccine passport

- Vaccination providers can print an immunisation history statement or the Australian Immunisation Register (1800 653 809) can post a copy (post can take up to 14 days).

- An immunisation history statement or COVID-19 digital certificate can show vaccinations through a myGov account or Medicare enrolment.

- People 14 or older can get an immunisation history statement or digital certificate using a Medicare online account through myGov or the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.

- People not eligible for Medicare need an individual healthcare identifier (IHI) to get proof online, available through myGov. Medicare cardholders, DVA cardholders or people enrolled in Medicare have IHIs.

- Other people can use myGov to apply for an IHI and link it by signing in, selecting Services (or Link your first service), selecting Individual Healthcare Identifiers and following the prompts.
