DEMOLITION of the former GrainCorp site in Swan Hill has begun.

Workers have been onsite in the past fortnight clearing the Monash Drive site, including the brick worker's office.

The silos will be demolished within the next month before the area is opened and future development can begin.

Just one silo will remain and the pitched roof shed to repurpose, opposite Riverside Park.
