“It’s been a great response,” she said.

“We’ve got 22 teams, two men’s and 10 ladies’ including teams from Swan Hill, Echuca, Barham, and South Australia.

“A lot of the regulars who used to play at Murray Downs jumped on board as soon as they heard it was back.”

The format is round robin singles, playing 501 Straight Darts, Double Finish, Best of Three.

Ms Gabler said the community is warmly invited to come down, show support, and enjoy a top-tier weekend of darts.

“It’ll be a great weekend,” Ms Gabler said.

“Darts is really social, and the level of skill will surprise people.

“We encourage everyone to come down and show their support.”

Major sponsors include Swan Hill RSL and Chris Conlan Electrical.

The venue is fully licensed (no BYO), and spectators can enjoy raffles on both days.

The tournament runs on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3.
