Bullseye return for Cup

DARTS teams from around the continent converged on Swan Hill RSL for the return of the Swan Hill Cup last weekend.

Nine women’s teams and 11 men’s teams from Australia and the islands, including Nauru, competed.

Yodas won the women’s competition with 60 to 35 in the legs and IUD came in runner-up with 56-28 in the legs, as both teams won eight games to one.

Allstars won the men’s competition at 10 games to none, with the runner-up decided between the Scuds and Echuca in the legs, both at eight games to two, with Scuds narrowly ahead with 33 to 15, and Echuca 33 to 17.

Contest director Rhiannon Glare thanked the RSL for a great weekend, as well as the major sponsors Chris Conlan Electrical and the volunteers who made it possible.

“Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and we already have teams keens to come back for the Swan Hill Cup next year,” she said.
