SWAN Hill’s drag strip is racing towards an ambitious October deadline to stage the first meeting with its new operators Skid City (Swan Hill) Inc.

And there is a small army of specialists from Queensland-based Slab Jack Industries swarming the track this week in their own race against the clock to repair the botched initial concreting.
