St Mary’s known for positive partnerships with families

St MARY’S Primary School has been receiving glowing feedback from parents about their children’s academic achievements and experiences.

Principal Kate Quin said building positive relationships was a fundamental aspect of life at St Mary’s.

“The school is known for its positive partnerships with families, excellent academic results, and warm and supportive classroom environments where children are encouraged to achieve their best,” she said.

“Recent online parent surveys reflected that we are scoring high in the eyes of our families.

“St Mary’s continues to provide excellence in education and this was cemented when it was recognised nationally for its consistently outstanding academic results on the NAPLAN tests in 2023.

“There is also a strong focus on meeting the well-being needs of all children.”

St Mary’s next open day will be held Sunday, May 26, with tours running at 10am and 11am.

What parents are saying about St Mary’s Primary School.

Carlie Brady

It is the sense of community that attracted me when I was looking for a school for my son.

With George in his first year at St Mary’s, I have loved the family engagement opportunities with the welcome picnic, Mother’s Day morning tea, and Colour Run event.

Teagan Gilmour

I enrolled my son after attending the school’s open day in 2023.

At the Open Day we got an immediate sense of comfort.

The buildings, playgrounds and gardens create such a welcoming and safe environment for the foundation students.

Mani Singh

We were impressed with the manners and respect the students showed, and with the number of teacher aides in rooms and the bilingual aides and support for children where English is not their first language.

Kim Dent

The sense of community and caring staff were a standout as was the OSHC service on site.

Having St Mary’s OSHC available makes it so much easier to juggle working until 5pm, knowing my son is safe and having fun.

The vacation care is an added plus, and the wonderful staff are qualified and trustworthy.

Elli Carpinteri

My daughter loves the specialist classes on offer, they are wonderful.

Flossie looks forward to them each week, in particular, STEM and playing with the Bee Bots is a real highlight.

Italian is also so much fun, and the science, music, and art programs are incredible.
