Dancing the night away to ’80s hits

YOU know it’s going to be a good show when patrons make their way towards the stage and dance floor without finding their seats.

This is what happened at the Swan Hill Town Hall on Saturday night as a large crowd came ready to party.

Forever 80’s was in the house and the group bought some of its huge fan base, some traveling from as far as Adelaide.

Well known for a high-energy show, Forever 80’s were performing in Swan Hill for the first time and said that they would be coming back.

Lead singer Blue Steel said the crowd was amazing, very vocal and larger than he thought it would be.

“The audience was off the hook, we loved it here, the support was amazing,” he said.

“I think we have a few people out there that might want to see the show again, so I think we will be back.”

For female singer Misfit, it was a bit of a homecoming as the girl from Mildura recalled many trips down the highway for basketball trips with her sister.

“The crowd was crazy and so loud – crazy in a good way, we were able to vibe off their energy,” she said.
