‘Brolly good’ weather for farmers

THE Swan Hill region is experiencing its wettest February in almost 15 years.

The rural city has recorded 31.4mm so far - significantly higher than the long-term average of 17.9mm.

Swan Hill recorded 7.2mm, 23.6mm and 0.6mm on February 3, 4 and 5 respectively.

It's the highest rainfall for the month since 46.2mm in 2011.

The highest ever falls was 116.4mm in 1911.
