WEAR a flannel shirt for a good cause as this Friday marks Flanno For A Farmer Day – an initiative by Farm Angels to raise awareness of mental health and suicide among farmers.

According to the National Rural Health Alliance, in 2023 one farmer committed suicide every 10 days, which is 94 per cent higher than the rate for non-farmers.
