AFTER the first two rounds of the 2022 Men’s Championships at Murray Downs, which were played last weekend, we have Neville Brady leading the way in Division 1 by two shots (151), ahead of Ash Free on 153, with defending champion James McLean and Andy Graham a further two shots back on 155.

Brady and Graham ran away to an early lead after the first round, with both players shooting rounds of 74, but it was Brady who had the better round on Sunday.

In Division 2, Justin Thompson (159) has a three shot lead over Harry Simpson (161), with Oliver Rhode next best on 169 and Ross Kenyon and Ross Hastings a further four shots adrift at 173.

Meanwhile in Division 4, Leighton Dullard has the early lead after two rounds with 193, ahead of Rob West on 195, Dennis Kelly at 197 and Rob Merrett on 199.

The scores of the leading players in all four divisions are quite close after the first two rounds, which will add a bit more pressure coming into the final two rounds this weekend for those in contention.
