THE Sonic Speedway fires up again this Saturday night, with an exciting evening of racing planned as the Wingless Sprints, Sports Sedans and Compact Speedcars are set to light up the track.
With both the Wingless Sprints and Sports Sedans racing at the end of their series rounds and with results being very close in both classes, all drivers will be after as many points as possible to end their seasons, with more than 20 racers in each class ensuring a night of very close exciting racing.
The Compact Speedcars will also return to our track and will be keen to impress the locals with fast racing, while the support classes include both the Standard Sedans and Juniors.
Lastly, congratulations to Swan Hill’s own Zoey Salau on her win in the ladies state title held in Wangaratta, recently.
Ms Salau’s victory means she is the new VIC 1 ladies champion, a remarkable achievement and richly deserved for one for one of the regions fiercest competitors.
Racing starts at 6pm, with gates open from 3pm on Saturday.
