THE Mallee Eagles B Grade side remained undefeated for the 2022 season with their comfortable win over Swan Hill to earn the title of premiers.
Eagles playing coach Deb Parsons said she couldn’t be prouder of all of her girls who took the court.
“I think we got a really good start, the defence was working so hard and giving us good opportunities, and I just said to the girls that we need to reward them,” she said.
Deanne Wiseman was named best on court, having returned to the court only this season after a knee reconstruction last year.
“I think today she didn’t want to leave anything out there – she said that during the week and we talked about it a lot, and I think she didn’t,” Parsons said.
“She was awesome today, I couldn’t have asked for any more.”
