MOULAMEIN fired a warning shot to the entire A Grade competition in the upset of the round. The Swans defeated last year's premiers Murrabit by four goals. A new look Murrabit were red hot to start, however it was the Swans who came home hard in the second half. Meg Rooney played a strong first game for the home team, while Ashea Budjuso was strong for Murrabit.
