A DOMINANT first quarter has helped Swan Hill secure the Central Murray B-reserve premiership, defeating a gallant Cohuna Kangas 44-40 in Saturday's grand final.

The four-goal win was set up by an impressive opening 15 minutes, with the Swans outscoring the Kangas by 13 goals to five, forcing Cohuna to play catch-up for the remaining three quarters.
