GOODIE Hiensch and her husband John moved to Ultima after semi-retiring and travelling Australia. In 2018, she drew on her own past experiences of sleeping rough to help start A Good Kitchen in Swan Hill.

I volunteered for Vinnies in the op shop first and then there was a call for people to work with conference. Conference is emergency relief, food, clothing. We just had food that we gave out, and
