BALRANALD Shire Council’s general manager has left the position following his alleged involvement in a racial vilification incident.

The Guardian reported last week that Michael Kitzelmann was on leave until August 17.

It is unclear whether Mr Kitzelmann quit or was sacked from his position of two-and-a-half-years.
