THERE is a bunch of new leaders at Beverford District Primary School after their student leader induction and meet-and-greet picnic last week.

Principal Phillip Cox explained that the 33 students and their families congregated on Friday afternoon to get together to celebrate a new year and to recognise the appointment of school captains, junior councillors and bus monitors.
