MURRAY River Council will have to find savings in future projects in order to put more funds into the Murray Downs boat ramp.

The council was last week told the project had a funding shortfall, because of an unsuccessful grant application.

The boat ramp itself had neared completion, however there won’t be any formal access road unless the council propped up $280,000.
