A LOCAL who saved four people from a submerged vehicle in Swan Hill 10 years ago has finally been recognised for his bravery.

Jordan Anderson was one of just 17 people to be honoured with Australian Bravery Decorations by the Governor-General recently.

Five recipients were awarded the bravery medal, seven commendations for brave conduct and one group of five the group bravery citation.
